About Me
I Love All Things UX and Design
I became a UX designer because I’ve aways been curious about human behavior, how we learn, how we adapt, and how we interact with the world. I studied communications and sociology in college, but always being a creative person, I found my way into graphic and web design.
Originally self taught, I grew my skills and jumped into UX at my first opportunity.
Superpower
Ambiguity Meets Organization and UX
I’m very adaptable and organized. I can jump into new things quickly and learn on my feet. I’ve worked with teams unsure about the direction they were headed, unsure what UX was, and I’ve helped be a guide for them.
Sometimes, we have big ideas, but are not sure how to get there. I foster connections with people, understanding their vision, understanding the problems they’re trying to tackle and create resources that help align ideas. I’ve gained trust with the teams I work with and helped them see more value in what UX can bring.
What I’m Doing Now
Always on the Move
I’m currently working at Amazon Web Services as a UX Designer for Commerce Platform. I support multiple internal and customer-facing products and services.
I’ve managed my design team’s project intake and tracking, experimented with a design-led agile model adapted for UX while working cross-functionally with other organizations, product, research, and engineering partners.
